Little Bits

Working on the next block for Laurel Ridge.  Sixteen nine-patches have been made.  Didn't take a picture.

Next, I made 128 1 1/2-inch half square triangles.  Here is the last one and all the bits that were trimmed off.  Not showing what managed to fall on the floor.  Cleanup was done after this was finished.  It did not last long.

I began making the quarter square triangles.  These are also 1 1/2-inches.  I am not the person who makes such tiny blocks.  This is a wonderful learning experience for me.  (Good thing my hair is already white.)  Having starched my material has helped me greatly.

Writing this Saturday afternoon.  Temperature is now -1F with a wind chill of -20.  Snow has been on and off all day. The wind is mean.  Husband cleared the driveway and an hour later it looked like he hadn't done a thing.  Bird feeders have been filled, and I won't go out again until tomorrow.

You all enjoy your threads on Sunday.  I will be enjoying the Super Bowl and may the New England Patriots win.  (But, if they don't, they have done wonderfully this year and I am pleased.)  My Slow Stitching will be count-work.

Linking to Slow Sunday Stitching at Kathy's Quilts.
